Summer Camp

Suzuki Music School of Michiana, Inc. is excited to again have a Summer Camp for our students and the community for ages 3 through 8th grade.

Music & Movement

The Music & Movement Camp will be held Monday-Friday, from 10:30-11:00 daily. This camp is geared toward 3-5 year olds that are not interested or ready to start an instrument. Music & Movement is a structured pre-instrument class which works towards thorough mastery of songs and actions through the Suzuki Repertoire. This camp will incorporate octaves, rhythm sticks, shakers and more to help the children discover pitches, sounds, beats and rhythms.

Beginning Violin, Piano & Half Day Camp Options Available!! 

The Beginning Violin, Piano & Cello camp will be held Monday-Friday, from 8:30-11:30 a.m. daily. This camp is geared toward students, ages 3-15, who are interested in learning the violin, piano or cello or students who have been enjoying their instrument and would like to have some fun at camp! An Art Component, Fiddling, Theory and/or Music & Movement will be offered in addition to the group and master classes. If your child does not currently have a string instrument, one will be provided for an additional $20 for the week. Please note, any child who is 3-6 years old will require an adult present at all times. For half day camp, before care is available for a fee.

Music Reading - Book 10 Violin & Cello Full Day Camp!!

The Music Reading - Book 10 Violin & Cello Camp will be held Monday-Friday, from 8:30 am-3:00 pm. This camp is geared towards students who have been playing for one (1) or more years, 1st - 8th Grade, who can also read music.  This camp will include an art component, a fiddling component along with small and large groups. Depending on camp size, master classes may also be offered. Established students must have their own instrument. Before & after care is available for a fee. 

** All camps must meet a minimum class size.
