Suzuki Music School of Michiana

A complete music program

SUZUKI MUSIC SCHOOL of Michiana, formerly Suzuki Music School of Granger and Suzuki Talent Education of Michiana, offers a complete music program for cello, piano, viola and violin for children between three and eighteen years of age in both our Granger and Plymouth locations. The program includes individual and group lessons, and classes in theory, reading, or chamber music. The school offers Sound Beginnings, a Suzuki Early Childhood Education music class for children from newborns through three years old, this is a parent/child interactive music class. Additionally, the school offers a Music and Movement class to give children between the ages of three and five an introduction to music. Parents are an integral part of the Suzuki method of music education, and a parent is required to attend all lessons with the child. Suzuki Music School of Michiana draws from a diverse range of public school, private school, and homeschooling families. In keeping with Suzuki’s philosophy, no prior musical background and no entry testing is necessary for enrollment. As a well-established Suzuki school for more than 50 years, Suzuki Music School of Michiana attracts students from cities, including but limited to: Granger, Mishawaka, South Bend, Elkhart, North Liberty, LaPorte, Plymouth, Culver, Warsaw, Niles, Buchanan, Berrien Springs, and Edwardsburg.

About Us

Learning to play an musical instruments from birth connects, develops, and refines the entire neurological and motor brain systems. In fact, music training, as research is now showing, may actually create neurological pathways that would otherwise not exist in the young developing brain.
