Joyce Davis Music Director, Violin/Viola, Sound Beginnings. B.S. from Purdue University. Suzuki Music School Director since 1987. Extensive Suzuki training; including training with Dr. Suzuki. Abigail Vogt Deitche Music Director, Violin, Cello, Music & Movement, Sound Beginnings. BSDH with a minor in music performance & business administration, Indiana University South Bend. Suzuki Music School of Michiana Violin Faculty since 2009. Suzuki training with Sharon Jones, Dorothy Jones, Jean Stucky, Terry Durbin, Geri Arnold, Wendy Azrak, Rebecca Sandrok, Ed Sprunger, Nancy Jackson, Alice Joy Lewis, Mark Mutter and Sharon Miller. First violinist of Silver Strings Quartet. Fischoff Geoffroy Award winner in 2009 and June 2009 Fischoff Artist of the Month. Member of SAA.*

Tamara Stojanovic Albahari Violin.  Internationally recognized violinist and music educator, Suzuki teacher since 2000. Extensive Suzuki training in the US and Canada. Violin faculty at the Suzuki Music School of Michiana since 2007. Professional orchestra player serving as concertmaster for LaPorte Symphony Orchestra since 2007 and member of the South Bend Symphony Orchestra. Sectional coach at South Bend Youth Symphony Orchestra. Baroque violin in Fleur de Lys chamber ensemble at the University of Notre Dame. Adjunct assistant professor of violin at the University of Notre Dame. Recent appointments include Artist in residence at Clay High School, South Bend and Fischoff Chamber Music Mentoring Program coach. Tamara holds a Master of Music in Violin Performance from San Francisco State University (2003) where she studied Chamber Music with the Alexander String Quartet, and a Diploma in Violin Performance from the State Conservatory of Music ‘Luigi Cherubini,’ Florence, Italy (1999, class of Eddy Perpich). She also graduated Magna cum Laude in the School of Letters and Philosophy, University of Florence (2000). Member AF of M and SAA.* 

 

Dawn VanArsdale Piano. Bachelor of Arts Degree in Piano Pedagogy from Bethel University and Suzuki Training with Caroline Frasier. Over 30 years teaching private piano and voice lessons along with 10 years of experience teaching music classes for kindergarten through high school at Christian Center School and New Creation Academy. Dawn has organized and led many choirs for local church and city-wide church special event. She has also taught music team-building in the U.S. and abroad. Member of the SAA.*
